Volunteers assist with our After-School Program, Food Giveaway Program, Summer Camp Program, Computer Lab Facilitation, Health Matters Programs and special events. Some programs at LMI can utilize volunteers as young as 14, while other programs require the volunteer to be at least 25. Senior citizens are welcomed and encouraged to volunteer with Life Matters, Inc. Short-term options include helping with fairs, festivals, summer activities and daily program events. Long term positions are available. Internships are also available.
Volunteers gain new skills, meet new people, utilize natural talents, help solve community issues, explore career possibilities, positively impact the neighborhood and develop a greater knowledge of nonprofits and community oriented services.
